Bringing smiles, stethoscopes, and sometimes balloon animals to the exam room, Dr. Turner is passionate about providing care in a welcoming, family-focused environment. From newborn checkups to well-woman exams to grandpa's blood pressure, he enjoys caring for every member of the family.
Originally from Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Turner trained at Des Moines University and Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He brings over a decade of primary care experience with a focus on pediatric care and women's health. Now based in St. George, he and his wife are proud parents of five wonderful children.
Well Child Checks
Well Child Checks are the cornerstone of pediatric preventive care. These routine appointments — scheduled from infancy through adolescence — monitor your child's physical and developmental journey. We track growth milestones, conduct preventive screenings (vision, hearing, mental health), administer vaccinations, and provide personalized guidance on nutrition, sleep, and safety.
Immunizations
Immunizations are one of the most effective tools in modern medicine. We provide comprehensive vaccination services for infants and children (MMR, DTaP, Polio), adolescents and teens (Tdap boosters, Meningitis, HPV), adults (Flu Shot, Shingles, Pneumonia), and travel or occupational needs based on specific exposure risks.
Same-Day Urgent Care
Health issues can arise unexpectedly, and waiting days for care isn't always an option. That's why we offer same-day appointment availability — so your child gets the attention they need, when they need it.
Sports Physicals — $25
A Preparticipation Physical Evaluation (PPE) is required before any organized sport. Our $25 sports physicals are available for athletes without insurance or those who have already used their annual well visit. Best of all, 100% of the fee is donated back to the athlete's high school athletic program.
Teen Health
Comprehensive health services designed specifically for teens, including yearly physicals, routine immunizations (Tdap, Meningitis), same-day appointments, birth control counseling and management (Liletta, Kyleena IUDs, Nexplanon implant), and advanced acne treatment including Accutane consultation.
Circumcisions
We provide exceptional newborn circumcision care in a comfortable, safe, and professional environment. Our approach prioritizes safety, comfort, and education. I have been a patient at OneHealth/Dixie Primary Care ever since moving here from San Diego, California where there were a multitude of choices of providers and specialists. I will admit that I had some trepidation about finding good healthcare in St. George, having enjoyed the benefits of great hospitals, research institutions and a wide breadth of specialists. Stacy Sumpter has been my primary provider and I am so happy that I found her. She listens. When needed, she refers me to the best specialists. She cares but is always professional - a perfect balance. She is willing to try alternative solutions which I appreciate instead of insisting that we keep on one path when it's apparent it's not working. If you're looking for a GP that can help with guiding you through your general care, I would highly recommend her. I have had several unexpected surgeries while living here, none that could have been prevented, and she has been a great source of support during those as well.

My provider is Dr. Jonathon Baza at one Health located on 292 S 1470 E. St George. Suite 200 St. George, UTAH Dr Baza is an amazing doctor, he’s always making sure that for every visit he will make sure to help his patients to feel better after a visit. He takes his time to chat with the patients regarding our health per each visit even if he just had seen you last just a week or two ago. His professionalism and care towards his patients is unmeasurable. Dr Baza has been my blessings for the past 5 years. He has an amazing staff the MA’s and PA’s are caring and very knowledgeable. The front desk takes care of your appts , calls and check-in appts. I’ve had the pleasure to have been helped by these wonderful ladies at the front desk: Elizabeth , Alivia, Tori and Alicia are amazing when you come for your appointment. Let’s not forget the Lab… painless shots and blood test drawn swiftly and painlessly as well. I also notice that the office is always clean and the exam rooms are impeccably clean and so are the Restrooms. I can go on and on and on about One Health’s amazing patient health care needs. Stacy Sumpter has been amazing! My children's pediatrician recommended her and I have not been disappointed! I didn't have a PCP for several years because when mine retired I was too anxious about starting all over with a new provider. Stacy has been attentive, listens, gives careful consideration and feedback, and does not discount my knowledge of my own body. She's absolutely fantastic!

Dr. Baza is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever had. He truly listens to you instead of dismissing your concerns and takes the time to actually talk with you. You never feel rushed or like just another patient. He is caring, understanding, and makes you feel comfortable and heard at every appointment. I’m so grateful to have found a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients.
